Head of PLM Technology

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
THE OPPORTUNITY
 
As the Head of PLM Technology you play an integral leadership role in leveraging systems to streamline and optimize the entire product lifecycle.  With strong business and technology acumen, you have the primary responsibility for architecting, planning, developing, executing and managing the implementation and support of Aritzia’s PLM system.  You work in close partnership with the Product Division, ensuring that the new system is leveraged across the business effectively and maintained at the highest possible standard. 
 
As a key member of the Information Technology team, you will make an impact at Aritzia by: 
  • In collaboration with Senior Leadership partners, shaping the vision and delivering value generating PLM technology solutions, including owning the technical implementation of a PLM system
  • Developing and maintain constructive cross-functional relationships throughout the organization
  • Leveraging a deep understanding and curiosity about our customer and business
 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE                                                         
As a seasoned professional in your craft, you use your experience to drive business results through inspirational and effective leadership of your team. As an entrepreneur you look past what ’is’ and see what ‘could be,’ with recognition that it takes collaboration, detail and heart to be successful.  In addition, you have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PLM technology software solutions
  • Solid understanding of the PLM process from concept through to finished goods, specific to the apparel industry
  • Experience conceptualizing, scoping, planning and managing complex projects
  • Experience identifying issues, gathering requirements and designing successful solutions
  • Experience in software development and / or roll out
  • Experience supporting / implementing ERP and Merchandise Planning Solutions
  • Excellent communication abilities and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of and / or experience in the apparel industry is a valuable asset
