Analyst, Sales Audit

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Analyst, Sales Audit objectives are to support Aritzia’s store cash collection and retail accounting process from start to finish including verifying the accuracy and completeness of reported sales.  Capitalizing on strong analytical skills and a desire to grow your career in finance, the Analyst, Sales Audit is responsible for reconciliation of all forms of payment with sales data, ensuring the stores have adequate cash out supplies, matching cash sales to bank deposits, and responding to copy requests and chargeback notifications.
 
As a key member of the Finance team you will make an impact at Aritzia by:
  • Assisting with the verification and completeness of reported sales, ensuring that all forms of payment are received and reconciled with sales data in a timely manner
  • Performing integral day-to-day activities related to retail accounting
  • Working closely with the Senior Manager, Transaction Services, to define this function in the context of our business
 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE                                                         
As either a growing professional or one who is seasoned in your craft, you use your smarts and experience to hit the ground running. You look past what ‘is’ and see what ‘could be,’ always keeping the end goal in mind.  In addition, you have
  • CPA designation or in progress
  • Accounting / book-keeping experience
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and / or experience in retail would be considered an asset
