eCommerce Merchandise Planner

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
As the eCommerce merchandise planner, you will be responsible for providing financial and business guidance to the Ecommerce Merchandising Team to ensure corporate targets are achieved. You will work together with buying and merchandising sharing your excellence of defining plans and the adjusting forecasts to make each season successful!

As a key member of the Merchandise Planing department you will make an impact at Aritzia by:
  • Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and profitability at the style level up to the brand level.
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Managers to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities.
  • Analyse historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by brand and category for the preseason.
  • Recap and analyse actual sales results online to plan and forecast in-season business on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE                                                         
As either a growing professional or one who is seasoned in your craft, you use your smarts and experience to hit the ground running. You look past what ‘is’ and see what ‘could be,’ always keeping the end goal in mind.
In addition, you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years professional experience in merchandise planning or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of retail math 
  • Highly proficient in excel including Pivot Tables and Macros
  • Highly analytical with a passion for apparel and style
  • Pure play E-commerce experience is an asset
