Merchandise Manager - Valley Fair

 What can be more exciting than being the person who manages our product day in and day out? Our Merchandise Managers are not only incredibly creative, but are also able to lead and manage a team to ensure we are always maximizing our sales through merchandising, as well as ensuring our customers are able to find what they want every time they walk into one of our stores. Having both the creative and technical merchandising talents, as well as the business skills to successfully manage this major part of our business is no small task!
 
Do you think you have what it takes to be a successful MERCHANDISE MANAGER? Do you love the idea of working closely with a District Merchandise Manager to elevate and maximize our business? How about working within the store team and managing our Shipper and Receivers? Our MERCHANDISE MANAGERS are accountable for ensuring our merchandise is perfectly received, presented, maintained and shipped according to Aritzia standards, all while driving the business. RESPONSIBILITES:
 
  • Take initiative to generate sales
  • Recognize and is resourceful when resolving opportunities and have the ability to get others bought into it
  • Support their Shipper/Receiver team through open dialogue, training, career discussion and managing performance
  • Be comfortable with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to merchandising
  • Promote our brand to ensure Aritzia is reflected well within the communities in which we operate
 
SKILLS:
 
  • Have a real passion for culture and fashion industry
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast paced and growing environment
  • Have 2-3 years of merchandising experience
 
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
 
The role will involve interacting with:
  • Full Retail Team
  • District Merchandise Managers
  • Shipper and Receiver Team
