Senior Project Manager

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
As a Senior Project Manager at Aritzia you provide exceptional leadership on business initiatives.  You work closely with business leaders and are responsible for transforming strategies and goals into realized projects that create new net value to Aritzia.  
You will make an impact at Aritzia by: 
  • Managing  initiatives from business feasibility through project set up and handover
  • Identifying, analyzing and assessing business opportunities, processes and workflows
  • Recommending valuable options and feasible solutions (technical and non-technical)
  • Directly managing and guiding the quality, timeline, budget and approach of projects
  • Identifying project risks and providing recommendations on resolution or mitigation
  • Establishing effective partnerships with key project sponsors and business stakeholders
  • Managing and providing mentorship to a project team of direct/indirect reports
  • Supporting all project needs through people resources, processes, and tools
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE                                                         
As a top rated specialist you are a driver of innovation and a subject matter expert with a history of successfully creating and implementing the latest and greatest best practices in your field. In addition, you have:
  • Undergraduate degree; MBA or equivalent is an asset; PMP is an asset
  • Exceptional project management and business analysis skills, with ability to oversee and lead multiple, large, and cross-functional efforts successfully from conception to completion
  • Proven management skills with the ability to engage & drive a team and clearly communicate (written and verbal) with peers and executives
  • Prior experience within a fast paced retail, ecommerce, wholesale and/or fashion apparel organization in Canada, US, and/or Internationally
  • Excellent MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
  • Ability to travel between Canada and US, and Internationally based on project requirements
