Head of Social Media

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
THE OPPORTUNITY
 
As the Head of Social Media you will lead all  social media activity, from research and strategy, through development, execution, management and analysis. This is an amazing opportunity to propel our brand and directly impact how we show up across all social channels.
 
You will make an impact at Aritzia by:  
  • Strategically leading the development of social campaigns and seasonal campaign content
  • Establishing powerful relationships with the social networking titans (Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Making Aritzia an  industry leader and trend setter via an innovative social strategy
  • Creating, building, innovating and delivering all overarching and campaign-specific social media strategies
 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE                                                         
As a seasoned professional in your craft, you use your experience to drive business results through inspirational and effective leadership of your team. As an entrepreneur you look past what ’is’ and see what ‘could be,’ with recognition that it takes collaboration, detail and heart to be successful.
 
In addition, you have:
  • 4+ years social media experience and ability to demonstrate consistent competency across all social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest and more.
  • Understanding of Aritzia’s competitive set, possesses a knowledge of your function’s industry best practices and landscape, and maintains an industry network
  • Strong sense of style, taste and talent to understand and adopt design, fashion, trends and aesthetic fundamentals in innovative ways to propel Aritzia’s brand.
  • Project management (time management, coordination, planning) with the ability to deliver results while managing multiple priorities
